Kate Winslet delivers yet another solid performance as an authoritarian ruler who wants to further expand her rule in Europe in the political satire “The Regime” from HBO. The 6 episodes of The Regime will be premiered on 3 March 2024, on HBO and live stream on Max, and exclusive show in the UK on Sky Atlantic & Now TV in April.
The series showcases a falling apart authoritarian regime in the palace over a year of tenure, the Chancellor Elena Vernham played by Kate Winslet is nervous and unstable , she moves to a soldier Herbert Zubak for help her invade which she calls expression of Peace and Love to expand her rule.
The other star cast include Hugh Grant, Martha Plimton, Andra Riseborough. Will Tracy is the writer, executive producer and the show runner.
