Jurassic Park

Here, a wealthy businessman named John Hammond, along with a team of genetic scientists, has established a wildlife park featuring resurrected dinosaurs.

Following an act of industrial sabotage that results in a catastrophic shutdown of the park’s power and security systems, a small group of visitors, including Hammond’s grandchildren, find themselves fighting for survival and attempting to flee the now dangerous island. Released in 1993 and Directed by Steven Spielberg, the movie has star cast of Richard Attenborough, Jeff Goldblum & Sam Neil.

The Lost World :Jurassic Park

Released in 1997, is an American science fiction action film. It serves as the second installment in the Jurassic Park franchise and the second film in the original Jurassic Park trilogy. Directed by Steven Spielberg and written by David Koepp, the movie is a sequel to the 1993 film Jurassic Park and is loosely based on Michael Crichton’s 1995 novel, The Lost World. The cast includes Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, Joseph Mazzello, and Ariana Richards reprising their roles from the original film, along with Julianne Moore, Pete Postlethwaite, and Arliss Howard joining the ensemble.

Jurassic Park III

Released in 2001, is an American science fiction action film directed by Joe Johnston. Serving as the third installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, it also marks the conclusion of the original Jurassic Park trilogy, succeeding The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). Notably, this film deviates from the previous ones as it is not directed by Steven Spielberg and is not based on a novel by Michael Crichton.

Nevertheless, it incorporates characters and concepts created by Crichton. The movie stars Sam Neill and Laura Dern, reprising their roles from the first film, alongside new cast members Tea Leoni & William H. Macy. The storyline revolves around a divorced couple who manipulate paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant into assisting them in locating their missing son on Isla Sorna.

Jurassic World

Released in 2015, is an American science fiction action film helmed by Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow collaborated with Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Derek Connolly to co-write the screenplay based on a story by Jaffa and Silver. This movie serves as the first installment in the Jurassic World trilogy and the fourth installment in the overall Jurassic Park film series, following Jurassic Park III in 2001.

The cast includes notable actors such as Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Irrfan Khan. Wong reprises his role from the original Jurassic Park film. Taking place 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World is set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, situated off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

The island has been home to a thriving theme park called Jurassic World, where cloned dinosaurs have been the main attraction for several years, fulfilling John Hammond’s visionary dream. However, chaos ensues when a genetically modified dinosaur escapes from its enclosure and wreaks havoc on the park. Meanwhile, a conspiracy orchestrated by the park’s staff adds further peril to the situation

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Released in 2018, is a science fiction action film helmed by J. A. Bayona and penned by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow. Serving as the sequel to Jurassic World (2015), it stands as the second chapter in the Jurassic World trilogy and the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park film series.

The movie features the return of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, and Jeff Goldblum in their respective roles, alongside new additions Toby Jones, Ted Levine, and Rafe Spall. The plot revolves around Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as they journey back to the fictional Central American island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from an imminent volcanic eruption, only to uncover a mercenary team’s hidden agenda to transport them to the US mainland.

Jurassic World Dominion

Released in 2022, is an American science fiction action film helmed by Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow collaborated with Emily Carmichael on the screenplay, based on a story by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow. This movie serves as the sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), marking the final chapter in the Jurassic World trilogy and the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park film series.

It brings closure to the narrative that commenced with Jurassic Park (1993). The film features returning actors Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, and Omar Sy, reprising their roles from previous installments. Additionally, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill make a comeback, appearing together for the first time since the original Jurassic Park. New additions to the cast include DeWanda Wise and Mamoudou Athie.
