Oscar Awards: Best Picture Winner's for Oppenheimer

Oscar Awards for 2024 honored Oppenheimer with Best Picture and Best Director for Christopher Nolan. Cillian Murphy was awarded Best Actor for his lead role in Oppenheimer, while Emma Stone won Best Actress for Poor Things. Robert Downey Jr. took home Best Supporting Actor for Oppenheimer, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph received Best Supporting Actress for The Holdovers. Oppenheimer also dominated in many technical categories like Cinematography, Editing, Score, and Visual Effects. Other major winners included Anatomy of a Fall for Original Screenplay, American Fiction for Adapted Screenplay, and The Boy and the Heron for Animated Feature.

Overall, it was a diverse group of films honored across genres, with historical drama Oppenheimer leading with the most wins. Jimmy Kimmel hosted the show and the event was held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Ovation Hollywood, California on March 10, 2024.
